The briefing was professionally done by Otter–despite no previous experience with aerobatics or combat flight, I felt like I understood what we were trying to do. [The instructor] walked me through the drills in the air very clearly and with patience. I felt extremely safe at all times. The pure joy of rolling and dancing around the sky in an inordinate array of attitudes with what appeared to be such ease and freedom added a whole new dimension to my life. This really was flying and must be the closest one can get to the real thing as is humanly possible. I can only hope to come back as a bird in the next life.
