Is there an adrenaline junkie on your list for Christmas this year? If so, rather than get them a new watch or a sweater, feed their wild side and get them an extreme gift that they’ll truly appreciate. Below is a list of 9 extreme gift ideas for the 9 lives of your adventure-seeking adrenaline junkie.

1. Air to Air Combat Experience

For the person on your list that has always dreamed of shouting, “Check six!! Check six!! Watch the hard deck!” during a g-pulling dog fight like Maverick and Goose, Fighter Combat International offers an opportunity to make this dream a reality. Yep, individuals can experience the thrill of being a fighter pilot without signing up for the Academy. This isn’t just a flight simulation; participants actually get to fly the insanely maneuverable Extra 300L airplane for the majority of the Top Gun excursion.

IMG SOURCE: http://www.fightercombat.com/

**Current Fighter Combat International Offers**

2. Tankballing
For some, paintball is the ultimate rush. For others, the opportunity to drive a real tank is the pinnacle of adventure. That said, imagine the rush of participating in an all-out paintball battle while driving a tank! Such is Tankballing. It may be hard to imagine but the opportunity exists and would probably go over extremely well with the thrill-seeking paintball enthusiast in your life.

IMG SOURCE: http://i.telegraph.co.uk/telegraph/multimedia/archive/01530/p-tankballing_1530447i.jpg

3. Race Track Rentals
We’ve all heard of the Autobahn in Germany – a mystical stretch of road that allows drivers to go as fast as they wish. Well, there are private racetracks that will provide a similar experience for the speedster on your list. In fact, they’ll even rent them the car of their dreams by the hour and, with the slightest amount of training, put them in the driver’s seat to fulfill their need for speed.

IMG SOURCE: http://photos.autoexpress.co.uk/images/front_picture_library_UK/dir_462/car_photo_231309_7.jpg

4. Shooting Range
It’s one of the more understated thrills but shooting a gun can easily get the heart pounding and the blood racing. To raise the bar a bit, you can buy gift certificates to some gun ranges that don’t just settle for the standard handguns of the world. No, in some cases you can shoot M-16s, Uzis, 50 cal. Sniper Rifles and if you ask reeeaaally nicely (and bribe generously) they might even take you in the back room to try your luck with a rocket launcher.

IMG SOURCE: http://www.af.mil/shared/media/photodb/photos/060913-F-8732E-012.jpg

5. Segway Rally Racing
You might think that Segways are reserved for mall cops and senior citizens but when tweaked ever so slightly, they can be used for all kinds of adrenaline spouting goodness. All it takes is more power ugh ugh ugh. Knowing this, some excursion companies have souped up their segways with rugged off-road tires and bigger engines to create a whole new sport of segway rally racing – an exciting new way to get the juices flowing.

IMG SOURCE: http://www.thegiftexperience.co.uk/cms_media/images/7915_3.jpg

6. Bungee Jumping
Also known as the adrenaline junkie gateway drug, bungee jumping is a staple in the world of natural highs. Of course, there are many bungee companies out there so a complimentary jump or two is always a safe gift to give your adventure guru.

IMG SOURCE: http://www.gift-experiences.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/bungee-jumping.jpg

7. Auto Stunt School
Most of us have sat in envy as we’ve watched high-speed chases in the movies that end in a blaze of flaming glory. Unfortunately, we’re also wise enough to know this stuff doesn’t actually happen, right? Wrong. Believe it or not, you can actually go to auto stunt school to learn how to have a high-speed shootout, how to brake in style and of course, how to do a wheelie. While these auto stunt lessons won’t end in explosions, they’re a great way to give your mad max wannabe the ride of their life.

IMG SOURCE: http://wrecks.justsickshit.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/flying-car-stunts1.jpg

8. Zip Line Tour
While bungee jumping might be a freefall into thin air, zip lines are a horizontal thrill ride that sends you hurling through space and enjoying the scenery along the way. Whether your adrenaline junkie prefers the canopies of an Alaskan rainforest or the treetops of Costa Rica, a zip line adventure is a great gift idea for anyone looking for a rush.

IMG SOURCE: http://www.travelrm.com/wp-content/uploads/2006/10/foto_081.jpg

9. Skydiving
No list of adrenaline inducing adventures would be complete without the mention of some good old fashion skydiving. Yep, if bungee jumping just isn’t enough for the dare devil on your list, get them 10,000 feet in the air and push them out of a plane. Though it might be the last of their nine lives, there is truly no adrenaline junkie adventure like it.

IMG SOURCE: http://corporatecations.thatsquepasa.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/skydive-lake-wanaka.jpg

With the holiday gift-buying season in full swing, you may be struggling to find that perfect gift for that special man on your list. In fact, you’re probably thinking, that man already has everything! Or does he? Below is a list of gifts that we’re confident, for better for worse, he doesn’t have … yet.

1. The Top Gun Mission

He may have a remote controlled plane or a video game simulator but he doesn’t have the real deal. Brought to you by Fighter Combat International in Mesa, AZ, you can purchase day packages that give you the opportunity to actually dogfight with an opponent during a real g-pulling air combat mission and emerge victorious as the “Top Gun”. This is not a flight simulator; you actually get to fly the planes!

IMG SOURCE: http://www.fightercombat.com

**Current Fighter Combat International Offers**

2. Trip to Space

If flying through the stratosphere at hundreds of miles an hour isn’t enough for the person on your list, how about a trip beyond the wild blue and into space? Yep, for just around $1.8 million, you can travel with Virgin Galactic in a suborbital space plane and go where very few have gone before. As long as they pass the pre-flight physical examination and training course, they can enjoy a trip into space.

IMG SOURCE: http://images.forbes.com/media/lifestyle/2006/12/19/5_1219feat3.jpg

3. Personal Submarine

Now that they’ve visited the skies and explored space, it’s time to dive deep into the ocean. However, they don’t need to be in a crowded submarine – no, the guy who has everything deserves a personal sub. For just about $2 million, this personal pod can dive up to 1,000 feet and have him adding hidden treasure to his ever-growing list of belongings in no time.

IMG SOURCE: http://zedomax.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/personal-submarine-1.jpg

4. Dino-Eyesore

He may have his fair share of trinkets, garden gnomes and windmills in his front yard but he doesn’t have this prehistoric eyesore of Dinosaur. It doesn’t make a lot of sense, but isn’t that what this list is about? That said, for around $50,000 this life-sized, twenty-two-foot tall Camarasaurus lawn fixture can be shipped to his door and planted in his yard – the most unique lawn trinket around.

IMG SOURCE: http://a323.yahoofs.com/phugc/eF7.Eh0UijtZ/photos/125e1f74d2e3cbc6f9c3bf232a3ef8b6/ori_77a97c65baa6c8.jpg?ug_____DWe0OfHdd

5. The Mission One

It’s not too uncommon to find a guy with a Harley in his garage, or even a Honda crotch-rocket, but even the most avid collectors aren’t likely to have this beauty in their collection. It’s called the Mission One and it’s the world’s fastest electric motorcycle. Capable of speeds upwards of 150mph, there are only 10 of these bikes in existence and they’ll run you about $75,000 – a perfect gift for the man that has everything.

IMG SOURCE: http://msnbcmedia.msn.com/j/MSNBC/Components/Slideshows/_production/ss-091008-NMXmasgifts/ss-091008-NMXmasgifts-10a.ss_full.jpg

6. The Virtual Butler

As we’ve said, the guy on your list already has everything – he may even have a butler already – but does he have a virtual butler? It’s the next level of home electronics; for around $20,000 you can have this system installed that will evaluate your home systems and oversee most everything. As a bonus, it will even speak to you in a British accent, so you know it’s legit service!

IMG SOURCE: http://www.newlaunches.com/entry_images/1109/20/Virtual-Butler-mirror.jpg

7. The King Pen
Most would think that a pen is a pen but every accomplished businessman carries a nice pen that shows he’s serious. Well, the man that has everything has never seen a pen of these sorts. Designed by Caran d’Ache, the world’s most expensive pen is solid silver, with an 18-karat gold tip and is enveloped by 5,072 specially cut diamonds and 96 rubies. He may have a couple nice pens, but this not-so-average pen will run you about $265,000 … so, we doubt he has one.

IMG SOURCE: http://s3.amazonaws.com/readers/trifter/2008/02/21/116644_4.jpg

8. Combo Knife
Every man has a knife that he’s proud of. Heck, he may even have every Swiss army knife ever made. However, does he have every Swiss army knife ever made, all combined into one? Probably not. Well, to celebrate their 100th birthday, the Swiss Army Knife Company built this gigantic knife that combines all of their previous 85 tools. Though it will run you about $1,000, it’s sure to fill that empty void of the knife he doesn’t yet have.

IMG SOURCE: http://cn1.kaboodle.com/hi/img/c/0/0/fe/5/AAAADLL_Do8AAAAAAP5R4Q.jpg?v=1288050961000

9. One Sky Jet Gift Card
So if he owns everything under the sun and you’ve bought him every gift on the list, you might try getting him a gift card. The One Sky Jet gift card allows members to purchase charter flights featuring flat-screen TVs, chef-prepared meals and a masseuse and aesthetician. The credit line extended on this card ranges from $50,000 up to $10 million … doubt he has one of these!

IMG SOURCE: http://images.forbes.com/media/lifestyle/2006/12/19/9_1219feat3.jpg

As a definitive authority on luxury gifts, Robb Report Magazine recently named Fighter Combat International’s four-day air to air combat experience as a Top 21 Ultimate Gift – an extreme gift idea for the ultimate thrill-seeker.

Mesa, AZ (Vocus) December 12, 2010

For over 30 years, Robb Report Magazine has served as the definitive authority on connoisseurship for ultra-affluent consumers. The prominent report showcases various products and services available from the most prestigious luxury brands around the globe and this holiday season they’ve selected another fleet of high-end gifts for their readers. Featured amongst the top items is Fighter Combat International’s extreme aerial training and air combat flying experience – the ultimate gift idea for the ultimate thrill-seeker.

This rare top gun fighter pilot opportunity is provided by Fighter Combat International, a company based in Mesa, Arizona, that specializes in aerobatic flying experiences like no other. The company typically offers more affordable air combat experiences and aerobatic flight packages in the $600-$1,200 range flown in the ultra-maneuverable Extra 300L, a dog-fighting machine capable of pulling 10g’s, with a role rate of 360 degrees per second and speeds approaching 250 mph.

To be clear, this unique experience featured in the Robb Report is not a flight simulation; during this four-day aerial training and air to air combat experience for eight, participants actually fly the fighter plane for the majority of each mission and get to test their newfound air combat skills in a culminating four-on-four fighter-jet battle.

What’s Happening? David arrived at Fighter Combat wanting to see everything the Extra could do and was specifically interested in the Point Roll (or Hesitation Roll). After an instructional demonstration and a few practices, he was able to fly the maneuver more effectively using a slower roll rate with crisper “stops” at the 90 degree points which characterizes this maneuver. In this video clip, BJ demonstrates to David how the Point Roll can be incorporated into an air show maneuver such as the Ratchet Roll. The aircraft remains in level flight throughout the maneuver. As the aircraft is rolling through the various positions, lift is being generated by both the fuselage, wings and combinations of each to balance flight and keep the aircraft from climbing or descending … enjoy! David sure did
