The briefing was professionally done by Otter–despite no previous experience with aerobatics or combat flight, I felt like I understood what we were trying to do. [The instructor] walked me through the drills in the air very clearly and with patience. I felt extremely safe at all times. It was clear that he was not only an accomplished, talented pilot himself, but he was also a great teacher and looked for reasons to give positive feedback…
